Now that she is walking about with confidence, there is so much more to explore. Just to get home in time for naps, dog walks, and meals means that there is a lot of rushing in our lives. But as much as I can, I try to let Edie let her toddler flags fly and I take a deep breath and just let things be for 10 or so minutes. This involves not only deep breaths to try to resist the chanting of "come on." "let's go." "not now." but also a good bit of hustling on my part to keep her from pick pocketing an unsuspecting tourist or running into a department store to dismantle their perfume displays. Here are some shots from yesterday's walkabout in Odeonsplatz. Edie loves street performers even more now that she can get out and dance to their jams!
A big wonderful world. She is walking with confidence. Go, little E.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that in the top picture you appear to be preparing to run after her.
ReplyDeleteThanks, sis. You know, if you keep a blog, not only will we all get to see what A-Rae is up to, but it is a really easy way to make a baby book. There are these sites (like blurb.com) that let you just plop a blog into a book that they'll print up nicely. Just saying :)
