Eli's new car

We got Eli a push car for his first birthday.  And even though his birthday is still 3 weeks away, well... it's not like he'll know the difference! So Will put it together last weekend.  And it's a hit!

Last day of school

Edie's first year of preschool has come to an end. She attended a Montessori school in our neighborhood 3 days a weeks and loved every minute of it. It has been a great experience for her, and the Montessori method has really jived with my uber independent girl. Here she is with her teachers, such great women. I can't say enough about them, or enough about how much Edie adores them.

Aunt Jessica in Nashville

Aunt Jessica and Justin came to Nashville for the weekend. We got to have dinner with them two nights in a row, and Aunt Jess even put Edie to bed on Friday night.

Obligatory TP Photos

Can there be baby pics without a few of the little one destroying toilet paper with glee? It's like the baby riding dog photo. Must be done. For his part, Eli was happy to oblige. If he didn't try to consume it, I would've let him go a little longer. His indignation at my removal of the TP after these were taken was righteous indeed.

Amma's visit

Will had to go to Salt Lake City for a conference in April. Amma came for three days to help and play with her grand kids. We went out to eat, took lots of walks, toured the zoo, and she brought Edie some fancy new summer clothes, including a Hawaiian dress from Amma and Afi's trip there earlier this year. Eli got sine clothes too but he wasn't quite as enthused, at his tender age of 10 mo. But he was very excited to have Amma around!
