Paddling Pools

Munich has some fabulous public pools. We recently went to one near us that is only open during the Summer months. It is a wonderland! Four or five different pools, acres of luck green grass, and even a beer garden for lunch and refreshments. One of the kid pools is a series of little paddling pools for the young 'uns to splash about it. Great way to beat the heat of our unairconditioned flat!

Happy Father's Day!

Last Sunday was Will's second Father's Day and our seventh wedding anniversary. So I got a lovely bouquet and Will got a pancake breakfast and cookies 'n' cream cupcakes. Edie got a celebration of toys, games, and activities that is actually typical of her every day life.

Bath Time!

Edie didn't use to like baths. They used to be a bit horrible, actually. These days, she's opposed to getting her hair dried and isn't wild about shampooing, but in between, it's wild time!

Greece

We got back from Greece a few days ago and - wow. It was amazing. The resort was gorgeous, quiet, and unbelievably kid-friendly. We had a great time with Edie's Grandpa, and she certainly reaped the rewards of being the only grandchild so far! From the staff who treated Edie like a celebrity, to the views of ancient monuments and the Mediterranean, we only wish we'd had a little longer.
